Dr. Teresa Johnson is a licensed psychologist and sex therapist in private practice. She is launching a group telehealth practice this summer.

The Center for Pleasure Equity is a trauma-informed group telehealth practice supporting individuals and couples seeking sex therapy, trauma therapy, and relational work. The Center supports adult clients across sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures. Clients are typically between the ages of 28 and 70. All clients are private pay, as this practice does not bill insurance.

Trauma Psychotherapist Position

I am seeking a skilled, experienced, and engaged licensed trauma psychotherapist to join this telehealth practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned clinician who is leaving insurance panels and is passionate about engaging with clients who are working through trauma to connect with their authentic selves.

This contract position offers:

• Fully remote, telehealth-based practice

• Rates and schedule set by the psychotherapist

• Generous, sustainable compensation - 70% of collected payments

• 2 hours of consultation per month

• Established systems including EHR

• Marketing and networking for referrals

This structure allows you to focus on your clinical work while being supported by an established practice infrastructure.

This contracted psychotherapist:

• Is licensed in New Hampshire, Maine, or Vermont with license in good standing

• Is not bound by an insurance panel to bill insurance in private practice

• Maintains their own professional liability insurance

• Brings strong clinical skill, integrity, and follow-through

• Communicates clearly and responds in a timely manner

• Is self-directed, organized, and engaged in their work

Preferred experience:

• At least 5 years post-license clinical experience

• Trauma therapy

• Couples therapy

• Depression and mood concerns

• Body image and embodiment work

• Other areas of specialization are welcome

This role is well-suited for a clinician who values autonomy, is invested in their craft, and wants to be part of a collaborative practice.
